NO British fighter has had as big an impact on 2015 as Tyson Fury, the new world heavyweight champion. The United Kingdom boasts a glorious 12 world champions but Fury is at the forefront, not only did he become the worldโ€™s leading heavyweight when he vanquished Wladimir Klitschko, he had deposed the number one in his division, who had appeared close to invincible in recent years. 54% voted for Fury as the British fighter of the year.

23% voted for have-a-go hero Anthony Crolla, who came back from career threatening injuries and a controversial draw to finally beat Darleys Perez and win the WBA lightweight title. 14% voted for James DeGale, whoโ€™s performed expertly winning the IBF super-middleweight title against Andre Dirrell and defending against Lucien Bute. 9% voted for Jamie McDonnell who won two exciting fights against Tomoki Kameda in the US.
