AMIR KHAN may be preparing for his May 7 clash with Saul Alvarez but he pulled few punches when discussing British rival Kell Brook.
There had been speculation that, with Khan fighting the WBC middleweight champion, Brook would be tempted to step up a couple of divisions to challenge the fearsome Gennady Golovkin.
โI think heโs talking s*** there,โ Khan scoffed. โI donโt think he wants to face me. He donโt want to fight me 100%. He can say what he wants, he knows Iโm on my own route and mentioning my name just gets him publicity.
โThe guyโs just king of mandatories. I want him to take a leaf out of my book, grow some balls and take some good fights. Itโs all about taking the biggest fights and at the end of his career saying look I fought the best and thatโs what Iโm doing. I want to fight the best and I want to beat the best.โ
